Around the time I asked Bree to pose for this portrait, I had wanted to create something in the style of Victoria Frances, whose art is all over my brother's walls in his game room. Also of inspiration was *Anna-Marine
I made a point, however, of not searching out their art while in the process of creating this, so as not to overtly "copy" any of their work. So this is an homage to those artists. My model liked the gothic theme, and so this piece was born!
