Portrait of Amy Lee (Evanesence). I wanted to do a vignette piece, so I used the colors and symbols from their latest album (I'm not sure what concert the photos are from). I thought it was cool how the barrettes in her hair look like piano keys, so I tried to bring them out more. The lettering took me about 25 hours, lyrics from "Good Enough", my favorite song on the album. Overall it took me about 60 hours.
Colored pencil on smooth bristol. Approx. 24" x 18". Photo by Eric Law.

The face is amazing and the song is really good too lol. I was about to freaking tell you this was the wrong section because I thought this was a photo. You especially did a good job with the face and especially the hair and eyes.

I can't take too much credit for the pose. I found some photos online, and matched up a couple from the same concert that went well together. I always try to give the photographer credit - in this case, I don't know who the photographer is. I CAN take credit for finding the right photos, composing it the way I did, and recreating them well (hopefully enchancing them). So thanks!
Well I think you did an awesome job putting everything together like you did! I mean I can see where it would take quite some time and effort to assemble all that into a wonderfully finished piece of art ... again, it looks great, I love it! ^^
